Lead Software Engineer

Active Logic is a rapidly-growing development agency actively seeking Laravel PHP developers with experience developing enterprise-grade web & mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess good team skills, and must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for providing project oversight, managing client expectations, and making sure your developers and your projects are successful.
  • Help define, set, and maintain ActiveLogic standards, vision, and direction for technologies, dependencies, architectures, solutions, and implementations.
  • Mentor, coach, and ensure developers consistently follow ActiveLogic standards, guidelines, and way of doing things.
  • Manage Scope and Tasks - Take on the clients vision but stick to the project scope as we have defined it.
  • Write reusable, effective, and scalable code
  • Build modular and reusable components and libraries
  • Translate the client’s technical specifications into code
  • Test, update, and optimize the application for performance and security
  • Ensure consistency & validity of the code used throughout entire applications

Core Qualifications
  • Must reside in the United States
  • College Degree in Computer Science (or Engineering or related field) or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Minimum of 5 years of Professional development
  • Advanced knowledge of database architecture & design
  • Clear and concise written & verbal communication skills (both internal teams & partnering clients)
  • Able to work in Central Standard Time from the hours of 9 am to 5 pm

Laravel/PHP Engineer

Active Logic is a rapidly-growing development agency actively seeking Laravel PHP developers with experience developing enterprise-grade web & mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess good team skills, and must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build, test, and maintain Laravel web applications across a plethora of industries.
  • Collaborate with the internal development team to plan & execute seamless user journeys.
  • Generate effective & scalable code capable of withstanding enterprise-level usage.
  • Adhere to the best practice coding standards set by Active Logic and/or partnering clientele
  • Design and develop innovative web applications that draw the user’s attention
  • Write reusable, effective, and scalable JavaScript code
  • Build modular and reusable components and libraries
  • Translate the client’s technical specifications into code
  • Test, update, and optimize the application for performance and security
  • Ensure consistency & validity of the code used throughout entire applications
  • Implement front-end components with a progressive Vue.js framework

Core Qualifications
  • Must reside in the United States
  • College Degree in Computer Science (or Engineering or related field) or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Minimum of 3 years of Professional development
  • Advanced knowledge of database architecture & design

  • Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
  • Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code

  • Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage

With the rising popularity and demand of the .NET Framework, we are continuing to grow our internal development team! We are seeking senior-level .NET developers with experience developing large-scale web applications capable of withstanding enterprise usage. Our ideal candidate is a quick problem solver, an effective collaborator, and well-versed in all things development.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software systems for a variety of clients.
  • Utilize C# alongside the .NET framework to develop functional software solutions.
  • Provide thorough and complete documentation for alterations & improvements to the .NET system.
  • Provide well-structured and illustrated documentation for users of the created system.
  • Comprehend the needs and goals of the client while providing code that follows their preferred processes and procedures.
  • Test, debug, and innovate production code to meet the specifications required by the client.
  • Adhere to the best practice coding standards set by Active Logic and/or partnering clientele.
  • Identify software defects in existing codebases provided by clients.
  • Communicate with both internal and partner teams to provide an ideal software solution.

Core Qualifications
  • Must reside in the United States.
  • College Degree in Computer Science (or Engineering or related field).
